Sembradillo Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Prospero, created to fund and protect the mission of keeping financial education, advocacy, and opportunity free and accessible for our community.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. Sembradillo Foundation is a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3). Documentation is provided.

Can I choose where my donation goes?

Normal donations go into the general fund and then allocated as needed. If you are interested in making a large one time donation to a specific fund, please contact us.

Why do you call donors “Planting Partners”?

Because this work is about planting seeds—not quick fixes. Our partners help create conditions for growth, stability, and long-term prosperity in the community.
